Went to the Sarasota Rennisance Festival earlier today (4/5/08) and boy did it rock! I saw a human chess match, a Taiko group, Taiko being a hopped up performance with percussion instruments which kicks ass, and a magician who got a $20 bill signed by someone, made it disappear and pulled it out of the middle of a lemon, which had no cuts until he sliced into it himself... WTF?!?!

Oh.. and then there was the Joust... And DAMN was it a hell of a Joust. There were three parts, and in the second part the 15 time world champ went up against the American international champ... Guess that outcome of THAT one. Guess what, you don't have to, that's why I'M here =P. The first pass by of the actual Joust... nothing special. 2nd pass, when they hit, all you hear is... BOOMCRACK!!!! Both lances shatter. No breaking, they SHATTER! The world champ gets knocked on his ass along with his horse. However, the US champ didn't get out of it unscathed. Let's just say he ends up learning how to ride sideways on a horse. XD

And the best part is.. I got a cool dragon necklace out of the whole deal! \o/
